Hello!
Miriham Antonio
18:10
How long should the addenda be?
Meri Khnkoyan
18:14
howdy
Briana Aguilar
18:26
Will high school transcripts be looked at ?
Joseph Gregory
18:26
Some schools require addenda for jumps in LSAT. Does Gould require the same?
Gladys
18:35
when it comes to the Ws, what’s defined as a few?
Serena Zou
18:40
Thanks for hosting. What about the F or repeated courses? What should we write on the addendum?
Amado Castillo
20:02
Donald Duck studying physics in New Mexico just makes sense
Admissions Ambassador - Sophia Dominguez-Heithoff
20:02
Hi Joseph - USC doesn’t “require” any addenda, however, if you believe it would allow the admissions committee to have a better understanding of your situation, if is highly encouraged.
Admissions Ambassador - Sophia Dominguez-Heithoff
21:20
Briana - High school transcripts are not looked at, unless you took courses at the college level (AP, dual-credit), in which those will be considered as a part of your college grades.
Jessica Son
21:49
Can we go over whether your major is taken into consideration?
Drashti Patel
23:48
Good afternoon respected admissions faculty, I am currently a Masters candidate. For transcripts, would an official transcript be mandatory if we are graduating with a Masters in Aug. of 2022, or would an unofficial transcript from that university be sufficient?
Admissions Ambassador - Sophia Dominguez-Heithoff
24:35
Incoming Class Stats- https://gould.usc.edu/academics/degrees/jd/class-profile/
Drashti Patel
26:40
Thank you for the clarification.
Jessica Son
26:54
Thank you, Would you say an art history/visual arts major be at a disadvantage ?
Joanne Kasem
27:39
should an addenda be written for one canceled score?
Joseph Gregory
27:42
For those of us with atypical majors, if some of the more rigorous courses are not readily apparent (e.g. most folks know STEM courses are steeply curved) might a description of those rigorous courses be a relevant topic for an addendum?
Ying Bao
29:20
Does admission office read LSAT Writing?
Admissions Ambassador - Sophia Dominguez-Heithoff
30:20
Ying - Yes! We do read the LSAT writing portions.
Joseph Gregory
30:38
Would a nod to distinguished Gould alum Donald Duck in our LSAT Writing be a wise inclusion? ;)
Jessica Flores
31:56
I already have an LSAT score, but am taking the November LSAT, is there a way that my application can be held until the November score is released?
Jenna Smith
32:09
Does a canceled LSAT score reflect badly on an applicant?
Drashti Patel
32:29
When does Gould’s admissions council start reviewing and accepting applicants?
Georgia Gkoulgkountina
36:05
Thanks for hosting the session! You talked about a holistic review for each applicant. I'm wondering about the steps in your review process. Do you review GPA/LSAT scores first and then consider personal statements and addenda? Is there a specific order we should keep in mind when preparing our application?
Lauren Lynam
37:20
Are chances of acceptance or scholarship different if an applicant applies early decision versus regular decision?
Georgette Helo
38:29
Hello, last years cycle was definitely different in terms of competition, what advice can be given for reapplicants to stand out?
Ying Bao
39:02
How many reviewers read one application?
Georgette Helo
42:04
Thank you so much!! 😊
Madison Klimchak
42:31
Are you able to apply early decision with the GRE?
Astgik Boyadzhyan
42:59
IF i submit a letter of rec. that I opted out from being able to view the letter, would that be taken into consideration?
Georgia Gkoulgkountina
44:40
The GPAs you shared with us are the ones each institution provides (like the same numbers as on students' college transcripts)? I recall hearing that certain law schools "recalculate" each GPA
Miriham Antonio
44:45
I had a question I sent privately
Madison Klimchak

Joanne Kasem
45:10

Serena Zou
45:51

Joanne Kasem
47:36

Serena Zou
48:45

Astgik Boyadzhyan
49:50
if I have a recommendation letter that I opted out from viewing would that be taken into consideration? since I would not know if it is a strong letter.
Amado Castillo
50:14
